AHS EVENTS
Each year new honorees are inducted into the Old Timer’s Hall of Fame and their photo and biography are added to the permanent display at the Alpine Historical Park. Annually, on the last Saturday of April, a ceremony honoring the new inductees is held at the Alpine Inn in Sutton. There is food, music, local entertainment, dancing and door prizes throughout the evening. This fundraiser provides funds for the continuation of the Coal Miner's Ball, development of exhibits and general maintenance at the Alpine Historical Park and may help other involved non-profits with the Sutton Community.
In 2009 4 new members were inducted into the "Hall of Fame" at the Coal Miner's Ball.
